Christ meets us where we are.

We think of your relationship with God and His Son Jesus Christ as a walk. It is your own personal journey that is active and moving. Starting Point

Every journey must have a starting point and Romans 10:14 tells us our spiritual journey begins with hearing God’s Word. Whether it’s during our Sunday morning worship service, one of the many classes we offer, or a one-on-one Bible study, hearing God’s Word is key to starting your relationship with God Almighty and Jesus His Son.

Obedience

Once we have heard and believe in Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior our faith will lead us to the next step on the journey which is obedience to Him. In Romans 10:9-10 the scriptures tell us we are obedient by confessing Jesus with our mouth. Also, in Acts 2:38 the scriptures tell us we are obedient by repenting (which means to change our direction) and by being baptized.

Grow

The journey doesn’t end there though. Because those initial steps come before we can possibly understand in a deep way, we must continue to grow in our faith. We do this by studying God’s Word together. Some of these classes are held on Sunday morning and some are held at different times during the week. Some are larger groups learning from a teacher and some are smaller groups just discussing God’s Word together.

Share

God designed us for relationships, both with Himself and others. We grow spiritually by cultivating meaningful relationships that explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Exploration happens through open conversation and sharing life together. By sharing our hope together, we provide those outsides of a relationship with Christ a glimpse of God’s redeeming love and the hope of eternal life.

Serve

One of the more difficult steps on the journey is learning how to humble ourselves. This means putting others and the interest of others above us. That is exactly what God did for us when He sent His Son. Our faith and hope are seen by others when we show them the love of Christ by serving them. One of our main areas of service comes through Life Groups where each month we focus on serving together in our community.
